Residential Solar
Installing a home solar system is a smart investment that will reduce both your energy costs and your carbon footprint.
Generating your own energy allows you to offset a significant portion of your electric bill, protecting yourself from the rising costs of electricity in the future.
How it works...
An array of solar panels converts energy from the sun into direct current (DC).
Microinverters installed beneath each solar panel convert the direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC).
The solar energy flows from the microinverters to the home electrical panel where the energy is first used to power any local loads such as lights, appliances or to charge an electric vehicle.
Any excess energy not consumed in the home is exported to the grid and the homeowner is credited for the energy at the retail rate.
A monitoring device records solar production (and optionally energy consumption) data and continuously monitors the performance of the system.
A mobile or web app allows the homeowner to monitoring the real time status of the solar system and track energy production (and optionally energy consumption) over time.
